Vaccinations

Boarding: Canines are required to have DHLPP, Bordetella (KC), and Rabies (RV), Fecal

Felines are required to have FVRCP and Rabies (RV), Fecal

Quarantine: Canines are required to have DHLPP, Bordetella (KC), and Rabies (RV). The Rabies (RV) vaccination (if needed) is not given until the last day of the quarantine.

Felines are required to have FVRCP and Rabies (RV).  The Rabies (RV) vaccination (if needed) is not given until the last day of the quarantine.

The County Animal Control agency will be advising the dates of quarantine.

Bath/Groom/Nail Trim: Canines & Felines are required to have exam with Rabies (RV) and/or proof of Rabies.  It will be given the day of grooming if there is no verification of this vaccination.  

Drop Offs: Canines & Felines are required to have Rabies (RV).  It will be given the day of drop off if there is no proof of Rabies (RV).

Surgery: Canine & Felines (domestic or feral) are required to have Rabies (RV) and distemper before surgery.  Please refer to the Vaccination for Surgery Hat.

Appointments: Vaccinations are not required, but if the pet is in need to stay for ANY kind of treatment, the technician will let the client know which vaccinations are needed preceding the services.

Health Certificate: For a client to receive a certificate, the pet has to be examined by the doctor.  Within the last year, the pet must have had Rabies (RV), Bordetella (KC) & DHLPP.  This certificate is only good for 30 days.  After the exam, the Technician will complete the certificate and place it in the client chart.  The receptionist then proceeds to cash out the client and gives certificate to the client following payment.
